Feel free to leave comments and to say if we are related, also to add information or corrections. We can all help each other with one another tree's. I am happy to do this for anyone else unravelling their family history.

Hi Susie, I sure do have to leave a comment in here by the Woo a' Sue. That was such a pleasure that You took Your time to really take such a deeper look towards my forefathers & mums. I even became even more proud when You found out that some of my Scottish ancestors were from Midlothian. While my pa just had known that r forefathers set sail towards the US in Glasgow in the end of the 19th century. "For Gus Sake" I hope we'll continue to dig even deeper - there might be a mutual grand grand grandfather of ours. Rock on Bugarachian. Your friend Arthur from yet another garage(lol, mine's a remise when you take the ancestry of a garage seriously).

I was totally fascinated by all the information you have on the MAXTED family from PLUCKLEY, Kent, plus the local history and stories you have told about the village and surrounding villages.

Hi Bob (Maxted), No, I didn't know about a Benjamin Maxted in Seasalter. Wonder if there's a connection. The Maxteds certainly span a few years, for sure, at least a couple of hundred !

Hi Susie, we have spoken before, I have just come across this! What a wonderful job you have done on this... I know we are related through the Rosser side, but what does this make you and I?! X

I calculate that you and I are 3rd cousins twice removed, and that makes us family! Your great grandfather John Rosser is the brother of my great great great grandmother Ann Rosser. So glad you see and like the family research I have done. Genealogy is one of my passions in life.

I have Maxted ancestors in my family tree. Elizabeth b 1809 in Hothfied is my ggg grandma. She married David Russell in London. It is through their daughter Emma Russell that we share DNA with someone who fought the Zulus at Rourkes Drift, was a working class playboy, a spy and a cockney gangster gone to Newcastle to avenge his bothers’ death

Hi Susie (or should I say 5th Cousin once removed). I am one quarter Shetland, with an Inkster grandfather (William). James Inkster is our common ancestor (1730 - 1790). Lots to read through here but just wanted to reach out and say what an aamazing job you have done here.

I have linked your Sugrue research to my Greenwich and District Family History Facebook group as an inspiration to members. My grandfather lived at Clarks Buildings when my father was born in 1908.
